AP Forest Department Assistant Beat Officer Vacancy Notification 2025

The Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) has announced 435 vacancies for the Assistant Beat Officer (ABO) posts in the A.P. Forest Subordinate Service under Notification No.06/2025. The online application link will be active from 16-07-2025 to 05-08-2025 at https://psc.ap.gov.in.

APPSC Assistant Beat Officer Vacancy Details 2025

• Total Posts: 435
  • Carried Forward Vacancies: 60
  • Fresh Vacancies: 375
• Pay Scale: ₹23,120 – ₹74,770

APPSC ABO Qualification 2025

• Must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent.

APPSC ABO Age Limit 2025

• 18 to 30 years as on 01-07-2025
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST/BC/EWS: 5 years
  • SC/ST (CF vacancies): 10 years

Physical Standards for ABO Jobs

• Same as FBO (see above)
• Must pass Walking Test (25 km for men / 16 km for women in 4 hours)

Selection Process for APPSC ABO 2025

• Screening Test (if needed)
• Main Exam (Objective)
• Computer Proficiency Test
• Walking Test (qualifying only)
• Medical Test by APPSC Medical Board

Bonus Marks (Physical Test Qualified Only)

• NCC “C”: 5 marks
• NCC “B”: 3 marks
• NCC “A”: 1 mark

APPSC ABO Exam Pattern 2025

• Objective-type written exam
• Penalty for wrong answers: 1/3rd mark deduction
• CPT must be qualified (no marks but compulsory)

Application Fee for APPSC ABO

• ₹250 processing fee + ₹80 exam fee
• Fee Exempted (only exam fee):
  • SC/ST/BC, White Card Holders, Unemployed youth (AP only)

2. Register using OTPR
3. Login with OTPR ID, fill details and submit
4. Pay the fee and complete the application before 05 August 2025
