For Commercial Pilot 12th with 60% of marks and valid Commercial Pilot License. For Law Officer- degree in law For Technical Electrical Branch- Electrical or Telecommunication or Instrumentation or Electronics or Electronics and Communication or Instrumentation and Control or  Power Electronics or Power Engg. For Technical Mechanical Branch – Naval architecture or Marine or Mechanical or Automotive or Industrial and Production or Mechatronics or Metallurgy or Aeronautical or Design or Aerospace.
Age limits for Indian Coast Guard Assistant Commandant Recruitment:	For Asst Commandant General duty, Technical Branch candidates must have born in between 01.07.1995 to 30.06.1999. For Asst Commandant General Duty Pilot and Asst Commandant Commercial Pilot posts candidates born in between 01.07.1995 to 30.06.2001 For Law Officer: Born between 01 Jul 1990 to 30 Jun 1999 (Both dates inclusive).
