Selection Process for Southern Railway RRC Chennai Safaiwala Jobs

Applicants who have successfully registered for above Post within the stipulated date will be assessed on the basis of Written Exam followed by Physical Efficiency Test and medical Examination.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus

Written Examination will be in Online mode and the medium of Question paper will be in Hindi, English, Tamil and Malayalam. Written Exam will consist of 50 Objective Questions, each question carrying one mark. Duration of Exam is 45 minutes. Syllabus concerned will be as per the required qualification for the post.

Physical Efficiency Test

This test will consist of Weight Lifting Activity, details as follows:

Male: Covering 100 Metres in 2 minutes with 35 Kgs of Weight Lifted.

Female: Covering 100 Metres in 2 minutes with 20 Kgs of Weight Lifted.

Probationary period

Candidates selected for Safaiwala Jobs will serve the Railways for a period of one year.
